On Sunday November 13th at our very own Reverchon Park thousands participated in PurpleStride DFW 2011, a 5K run and 1-mile awareness run/walk to support the fight against pancreatic cancer. The event raised over $334,000!
Proceeds benefited the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, "the national organization creating hope in a comprehensive way through research, patient support, community outreach and advocacy for a cure."
