The North Texas Amateur Baseball League's (NTABL) elite Open National Division Championship is Saturday night, September 10th at 7PM on the Historic Reverchon Park Ballfield in Oak Lawn.  Admission is FREE.  The game features Modoc (19-4) vs. Multiview (16-7) in what league officials shared might be the best two amateur teams in all of the Southwest, and maybe the best ever.

"Modoc has always fielded top teams, but Multiview is a newcomer to NTABL and reached the championship game with a convincing win over Modoc Wednesday night" shared Gerry Mecca, Commissioner of the NTABL.  Modoc is also headed for the 25-and-over MSBL World Series in Phoenix in October.  They are out to prove to the rest of the country the best amateur baseball is from Dallas' own North Texas Amateur Baseball League.

About the NTABL (www.ntabl.com)

The North Texas Amateur Baseball League (NTABL) was founded in 1988 and is the premier amateur baseball league for fit and active adults still interested playing the great game of baseball.  The league provides competition in several levels, ages and seasons.

The league promotes baseball and sportsmanship for men 18 years of age and older and is active in charitable activities including the Friends of Reverchon Park. The NTABL is sanctioned by Men's Senior League Baseball (MSBL/MABL) and USA Baseball. The league provides league management, professional umpires and provides excellent playing facilities.

The league also assists teams in reaching the MSBL/MABL World Series, played annually in October at the spring training and winter homes of major league baseball teams in the greater Phoenix, AZ area, with sponsorship information and other support.
