On Saturday, March 12, more than 230 community friends, area neighbors and volunteers helped beautify and clean up Reverchon Park at the 13th annual Reverchon Roundup. Key partners include Friends of Reverchon Park, Dallas Park and Recreation Department, Arborilogical Services, Inc., Dallas Police Department, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Southwest Airlines and PlainsCapital Corporation.
Cleanup and beautification activities included removing trash and brush, cleaning playground equipment, spreading mulch, painting and planting flowers.
Dave Strueber, Assistant Director of Parks Department (pictured), delivered a passionate speech about the importance of the park and most importantly the city employees commitment to Dallas' version of Central Park.
