About 1,000 participants are expected at Saturday's North Texas Out of the Darkness Community Walk on the Katy Trail, raising money for and building awareness of efforts to prevent suicide. The event begins at 2 p.m. and is followed by a Celebration of Life Picnic at Reverchon.
